Risk Assessment for Beckfoot Allerton
We are delighted that schools will be open for our students in September. Our schools have been working hard to plan for this with the safety of all our children and staff at the forefront of our minds. As part of this Risk Assessments for each school have been revised considering the health and safety guidance issued by .
Each school’s circumstances are unique and in particular their buildings differ so each school completes their own specific Risk Assessment. Risk Assessments are technical, health and safety based exercises that identify any risks of harm (Coronavirus) we can foresee and plan as many ways as possible to reduce that risk. They are compiled by staff and we consult widely about their content and specifically with teaching and support staff and union colleagues. These groups are satisfied that the new procedures we have developed to prevent the spread of coronavirus in school have been well thought through and we will develop them as we find out how parents, staff and pupils get on with the new way of enjoying the school day. It is important to understand that some risks will always remain high. You can see the Risk Assessment for your school here.
School headteachers are communicating further details of September opening arrangements. Secondary headteachers will also let you know what the specific arrangements will be this summer for exam results days, next steps to Sixth Form and Post Sixth Form destinations. Students will not be required to come to school to receive their results this year. These events will run remotely to keep everyone as as possible and your school will advise the details for this through the usual communication .
Please let us know if you have any questions or need support of any kind. During the summer break you can email us at office@beckfootallerton.org
We wish you all a safe and happy summer.
